The Enterprise Conference and Event Center is one of Winston Salem’s premiere hospitality venues – in fact – it’s “The Place Where Community Hospitality Lives!” The event center is conveniently located in the heart of the Southeast Winston Salem community. It offers 4,710 square feet of conference and entertainment space with an adjacent mezzanine that is just right for small networking receptions and exhibits. There is also an acre of spacious outdoor garden space that will complement and enhance the ambiance of any wedding or entertainment events. It’s a great space for an outdoor movie night, too! Staging, electricity, a gazebo with wooden park benches and a serenity area are available in the garden!
The fully carpeted event and conference space, which can accommodate up to 300 people, is ideal for any event – corporate meeting, community gatherings, theme parties, pastoral and church anniversaries, bridal showers, quinceaneras, retirement and holiday parties. The cost is determined by many factors; the length or time of the event, what amenities are provided by the center (i.e.) table covers, food, centerpieces, audio visual etc.
The Enterprise Conference and Event Center is a full-service nonprofit hospitality venue with an experienced professional staff. Our staff does all room set up and room breakdown. “We do the work! You have the fun!”
No. All food and beverage requirements and room setups are uniquely customized and planned by a hospitality event planner. The Enterprise Center has its own commercial kitchen and chefs with varied culinary backgrounds and offer menu specialties in cuisine and style of cooking.
A $200 fee is assessed to the rental party when outside food vendors are used. The food service vendor is also required to provide a “Certificate of Liability Insurance” to The Enterprise Conference and Event Center listing S.G. Atkins Community Development Corporation as the certificate holder (2) two weeks prior to the event.
A “liability release form” must be signed by the rental party planner, dated and approved by the chef when removing food from The Enterprise Conference and Event Center by guests of the rental party. S.G. Atkins Community Development Corporation (The Enterprise Conference and Event Center) cannot and will not assume any liability nor responsibility if any food is taken out of the assigned room.
Due to the high room ceiling (22ft), helium balloons are prohibited in the conference center area. Standard air balloons are acceptable.
Alcoholic beverages are limited to beer and wine only. Security officers are required and contracted through the conference center at a $35 hourly rate per officer paid by the rental party. Depending on the number of guests in the party – two to four security officers must be contracted.
In case of an “act of nature,” the rental party can reschedule the event within one (1) year. In the event of the “passing” of a rental party honored guest, the deposit will be refunded.
The rental party must notify The Enterprise Conference and Event Center in writing of Event Cancellation. Any additional money paid to the conference and event center (does not include nonrefundable deposit) will be considered for reimbursement based on the time of cancellation. That criterion is listed in the facility rental agreement previously signed by the rental party.
he Enterprise Conference and Event Center accepts money orders, cashiers’ check, and credit card payments. The balance on all event-related fees is payable no later than (7) business days prior to the function. The nonrefundable deposit is applied to the final balance.
